Fielding coach Dilip praises Rohit Sharma

While Rohit Sharma is unquestionably one of the best cricket players in the nation, the Indian captain also ranks highly when it comes to being a good person. The coaches have spoken out about Rohit’s character as well as those of his colleagues. The team’s younger members have previously praised the skipper for his altruistic demeanor, and now fielding coach T Dilip has acknowledged that Rohit is a fantastic leader who also has a good heart.

What Dilip thinks about Rohit Sharma

Speaking on the Raw Talks with VK podcast on YouTube, Dilip stated that while it is unnecessary to discuss Rohit’s batting, there aren’t many decent people like him in general. “I don’t need to discuss his batting because he is one of the best ball pullers in the game. Everything is there, but the perspective I’ve observed in my job… I had the ability to see Rohit Sharma from a distance while I was with the Deccan Chargers. There aren’t many decent people like him that I’ve seen in my life in the three years that I’ve spent with him”, Dilip stated in the podcast.

The bond he shares with each team member is another factor. He went on, “The relationship, the bond he’s built by talking to each one.” Dilip, showcasing Rohit’s sense of humor, recounted an incident from the just finished Sri Lanka tour in which the Indian captain lunged at Washington Sundar after the all-rounder dropped his run-up twice in a row.

Dilip has nothing but praises for Rohit’s Fun and wonderful persona

“On the field, he truly has a great sense of humor and is an easygoing individual. You must have also seen Washington skip the running during the game the other day twice. As a result, he makes an effort to establish a pleasant atmosphere below the surface.” Dlip remarked gleefully.

“There are amusing incidents surrounding that, but he’s a wonderful person, and his leadership abilities speak for themselves. Prior to that, there is the World Cup and the IPL trophies. He’s among the greatest, Dilip continued.
