Wolf Tooth’s reputation has always been to deliver the best possible engineering and design solutions for bicycle componentry needs. Since its founding in 2013, the company has remained true to this pursuit, and today marks a special announcement. Mark Zero (MKØ) is Wolf Tooth’s new in-house line that celebrates the excitement of engineering.
MKØ takes this a step beyond just being nerdy about component design. Everything in this new collection features premium materials, unique machining, and labor-intensive processes meant to elevate some of Wolf Tooth’s core offerings. These all feature a new, exclusive color called Shadow Gray, which will only be available on MKØ items.
This collection is what happens when the Wolf Tooth engineers are given extra time to design small-batch releases. Different rules exist when you only need to make 50 of something instead of 500 of something. It’s a green light to spend extra time refining a design, exploring new production methods, experimenting with new materials, tinkering with construction, and challenging everything the brand has learned about cycling component engineering.
Mark Zero MKØ Collection
The Mark Zero MKØ DEL Gravel Race Clipless Pedals ($364.95) feature a titanium axle, extra machining for aesthetic and weight savings, an exclusive color, and weigh just 174 g as a set, while the non-MKØ version features a stainless steel axle and weighs 217 g as a set.
Similarly, the Mark Zero MKØ BSA Bottom Bracket ($309.95) with a 24 mm spindle diameter features ceramic bearings, additional machining for weight-savings and aesthetics, and weighs 77 g, while the non-MKØ version features stainless steel bearings and weighs 83 g.
The Mark Zero MKØ Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp ($44.95) offers a balanced weight, security, and performance while not sacrificing looks and design. The size offerings range from 15.4 g to 16.3 g.
Even the Mark Zero MKØ Centerlock Rotor Lockrings ($24.95) with an external spline are 35% lighter than their non-MKØ counterparts.
The full collection includes XC clipless pedals, gravel race clipless pedals, BSA bottom bracket, seatpost clamps, centerlock rotor lockrings, and headsets. More items will be added in the coming months.
