Princeton CarbonWorks joins Saddleback – BikeBiz

Following recent changes to distribution channels, Saddleback has announced the exclusive UK and Ireland distribution of Princeton CarbonWorks. The distributor says that over the past two decades, it has repeatedly proven its capability in the premium carbon wheel market, successfully contributing to what Zipp and ENVE have become today.

We are very particular about the brands that we add and especially so when it comes to premium wheels. When we found ourselves needing to review the competition, it was immediately obvious that there was only one brand that would meet all the criteria we set internally, and we are delighted to be starting with Princeton CarbonWorks at such an exciting time for their business – Saddleback’s Managing Director Andy Wigmore

The Connecticut, USA-based company has proven itself to be a highly innovative performance brand with a strong association with professional teams and athletes. It is currently the official equipment provider to Team GB and the Dutch National Team.

Coming from a triathlon background, the product line provides the most advanced aero solutions in the fields of road, gravel, track and tri, with the new highly acclaimed Wake 6560 Evolution II being an example of their advanced technical capability.

With over 19 years in the category, Saddleback says it has unparalleled experience in the premium carbon wheel market and will take all the learnings from these past collaborations to provide Princeton CarbonWorks with the best possible positioning. With a dedicated wheel-building facility at its Bristol-based headquarters, its team of experienced wheel builders will be able to provide the high levels of aftercare that premium brands like Princeton CarbonWorks need.

Princeton’s CEO, Harrison Macris, commented: “We look forward to a partnership with Saddleback, leveraging their years of experience and professional mindset. Improving our reach, level of service, and education about the product are important for PCW, and Saddleback is the right partner for us to achieve those goals.”

The new product line will start to arrive at Saddleback in mid-April.
