Moses Itauma returned to action in Manchester and became the first man to stop Jermaine Franklin Jr.
In the main event, Itauma wasted no time against Franklin, hurting his opponent several times in the opening round.
The 21-year-old impressed with his variety of attacks, which were far too quick for ‘989 Assassin’ early on.
Franklin was dropped in the third round, with Itauma landing heavily to the top of his head with 20 seconds left in the round.
He had his best round in the fourth despite being dropped just over a minute prior. Itauma was still cruising, but the American began to land some counter shots of his own.
Itauma punished Franklin for every mistake and continued his beatdown in round five, which would be the final round.
Halfway through the fifth, Itauma landed a stunning uppercut that knocked Franklin out cold, and the referee counted the American out.
Nathan Heaney vs Gerome Warburton
‘The Bread Maker’ caused an upset in the co-main event after Nathan Heaney walked out in front of his Stoke faithful.
‘The Hitman’ brought over 3,000 fans but was outboxed over 10 rounds. Warburton was excellent, boxing on the back foot, while Heaney, at 36, struggled to close the gap.
The three judges’ scorecards read wide for Warburton: 98-92 and 97-93 on two of the judges’ cards.
Despite not getting the decision, Heaney confirmed he still has every intention of returning and headlining in his beloved Stoke-on-Trent.
Ezra Taylor vs Willy Hutchinson
Hutchinson walked to the ring as the favourite, despite Ezra Taylor being unbeaten going into the contest.
‘The Hutch Train’ looked confident from the first bell, boxing with his hands down from the outset. It was a back-and-forth first round, with the unorthodox Hutchinson trying to unravel the more traditional Taylor.
The Scotsman boxed well throughout and was picking up rounds from the first, forcing Taylor to come forward.
All three judges gave the nod to Hutchinson after a pretty comfortable showing in Manchester.
Remaining Undercard
Brad Pauls picked up an incredible victory after possibly losing every single round of the contest to Shakiel Thompson, as he pulled out a devastating stoppage from seemingly nowhere.
‘Dr Steel’ was in complete control before Pauls landed a brutal right hand and followed up in style to deal Thompson the first loss of his career.

Liam Davies secured his second consecutive win following his loss to Shabaz Masoud in 2024.
He made no mistake against Francesco Grandelli, dropping his opponent in the fourth before the Italian was forced to retire in his corner after the sixth round.
Alex Murphy and Josh Holmes went to war, with the unbeaten fighter picking up a massive stoppage victory.
Murphy was expected to be the toughest test of Holmes’ career and, despite having the 30-year-old hurt early on, he was ultimately outclassed.
Holmes put his man down with 20 seconds left and followed up in style to end the contest before the final bell.

Michael Gomez Jr got back to winning ways after saying he would retire if he lost to Jordan Flynn.
Gomez Jr brought the fight to Flynn, who fell into the trap and was stopped in the third round after suffering a broken jaw.
Nelson Birchall picked up the eighth stoppage win of his career against Ryan Griffiths, while John Joe Carrigan secured the second win of his career with a third-round stoppage.
Son of the legendary Naseem Hamed, Aadam scored a points victory over Michael Mooney.
