A new trios match is now official for AEW Dynamite after tensions boiled over on Collision.
On the March 28 episode of AEW Collision, Mina Shirakawa teamed up with Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor — The Brawling Birds — and picked up a win in trios action. After the match, Hayter made it clear that her team had nothing to do with the recent attack on Toni Storm.
That’s when things got heated. Alex Windsor called out the Triangle of Madness, bringing out AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla along with Julia Hart and Skye Blue. Thekla fired back with insults and warned that Mina and The Brawling Birds could end up suffering the same fate as Toni Storm. Mina didn’t back down and responded with a challenge, calling for a trios match against Thekla and her group.
Later in the show, the match was officially announced for the April 1 episode of AEW Dynamite in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Here’s the updated lineup for AEW Dynamite on April 1:
- Mina Shirakawa, Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor vs. Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart & Skye Blue)
- Kenny Omega & MJF contract signing for AEW Dynasty
- Will Ospreay vs. PAC
- Kenny Omega, Brody King & Jack Perry vs. The Demand (Ricochet & GOA)
This one came together fast, and now the fight is set for Dynamite. With tensions already high, this trios match could turn into chaos the second the bell rings.
Do you think Mina and The Brawling Birds can take down Thekla and her crew, or will the Triangle of Madness keep rolling? Let us know in the comments.
