Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade is tipped to start for Germany against Ghana on Monday in a pre-FIFA World Cup friendly.
Head coach Julian Nagelsmann is expected to rest Arsenal forward Kai Havertz.
Woltemade climbed off the bench on Friday in Germany’s 4-3 win over Switzerland on Friday.
According to Bild, he has been very active in recent training sessions and will be rewarded for his work rate.
Nagelsmann has another option in Stuttgart’s Deniz Undav.
Germany will face Ghana at the MHPArena in Stuttgart.
