Round 2: Brazilian Grand Prix 2026
The Brazilian Grand Prix weekend in Goiania, Brazil has come to an end with a dominant display from Aprilia, who really seem like the team to beat at the outset of 2026.
Marco Bezzecchi led the race from start to finish, with teammate Jorge Martin claiming an incredible second place ahead of Di Giannantonio.
It was a disappointing race for Marc Marquez, who failed to finish on the podium for the first time in Ducati red while still crossing the finish line.

The drama of the Thai Grand Prix began on Saturday with an intense sprint race which saw pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi slide out of the lead on lap 2. Acosta took his maiden sprint win after Marc Marquez was penalized for an aggressive divebomb into the final corner.
In the main race, Bezzecchi took control and dominated the race from flag-to-flag. He was helped by a competitive fight between Acosta, Fernandez, Martin and Marc Marquez behind, with the reigning champion forced to retire due to a tyre puncture.
Pedro Acosta leads the championship at the conclusion of the opening weekend.
