Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:
On tap for tonight’s event, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will take on The Bella Twins, as both teams have been getting involved in each other’s matches with Nia Jax and Lash Legend over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. With the way things have gone done recently, as well as Bayley and Lyra Valkyria scheduled for a match against The Irresistible Forces for the next episode of Monday Night Raw, I can’t imagine we’ll see any legitimate winners here. I’m expecting it to break down into another disqualification brawl of sorts.
Kit Wilson will go one-on-one with Jelly Roll, which is interesting that it is happening here instead of WrestleMania. Given Wilson’s crossover with The Miz, who is also dealing with Danhausen cursing him, this is either leading to some sort of tag team scenario on The Grandest Stage of Them All, or this is going to be a win for Jelly Roll with Wilson losing via the curse.
We’ll also be checking in on the status of Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu after they fell off some scaffolding while brawling last week, and progress more of the storylines of Randy Orton temporarily feuding with Matt Cardona to set up The Viper’s title match against Cody Rhodes at The Showcase of the Immortals, more with Tiffany Stratton and Giulia (with Chelsea Green by proxy), and absolutely more of Jade Cargill’s newfound alliance of B-Fab and Michin, who took out Rhea Ripley on last week’s show. What’s going on with the MFTs and The Wyatt Sicks? What do the new tag team champions Damian Priest and R-Truth have in store? We’ll find out!
Here are your results for WWE SmackDown – March 27, 2026:
- Randy Orton opened the show with a promo about how he’s listening to the voices in his head now that Cody Rhodes said he wanted the best version of The Viper. Matt Cardona went on the attack to get some revenge for last week. Later, Orton would demand a match with Cardona, and while Nick Aldis at first didn’t want to because of an arm injury to Cardona, he eventually decided to go with it.
- Nick Aldis told Trick Williams that he’s booked him in a match at WrestleMania (but didn’t reveal what that match is). Sami Zayn got annoyed about it, since he doesn’t have a match.
- The Bella Twins beat Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair due in part to some chaos ringside with The Irresistible Forces, who eventually got into a scuffle with everyone including Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Brie and Nikki Bella argued with Bliss and Flair backstage in a later segment.
- Rhea Ripley had an in-ring promo segment with Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab on the ramp. After some trash talking, Jade volunteered B-Fab for a match. Ripley defeated B-Fab by disqualification due to interference from Cargill and Michin, who made sure to beat down The Eradicator in a 3-on-1 attack.
- Danhausen cursed Kit Wilson backstage after Wilson was talking to The Miz, who has been suffering some annoying misfortune lately due to his curse.
- Drew McIntyre warned that Jacob Fatu took everything from him, and when a man has nothing left to lose, that’s when he’s the most dangerous.
- Jelly Roll defeated Kit Wilson by pinfall.
- Sami Zayn won the WWE Men’s United States Championship from Carmelo Hayes by pinfall after Trick Williams hit Melo when Zayn ducked. Zayn will defend that title against Williams at WrestleMania.
- Jacob Fatu went to the ring for a promo. Drew McIntyre came out to badmouth him. Nick Aldis then announced that they will have an unsanctioned match at WrestleMania.
- Non-Title Match: Giulia defeated Tiffany Stratton by pinfall.
- Randy Orton defeated Matt Cardona by pinfall. Cody Rhodes then brawled with Orton to end the show.
