Lauren Price defends her WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight world titles against Stephanie Pineiro in Cardiff on Saturday.
Price (9-0, 2 KOs) faces the unbeaten Pineiro (10-0, 3 KOs) at the Utitlita Arena, with victory likely to lead to an undisputed world title clash against WBO titlist, Mikaela Mayer.
Olympic gold medalist, Price became world champion in just her seventh professional bout and secured the biggest win of her career last March when she dominated Natasha Jonas to become unified titlist.
Pineiro heads to the champion’s hometown for her maiden world title shot.
The 35-year-old is undefeated in 10 professional contests and will fight outside of her native Puerto Rico for the first time.
