Rift Denied between Jess Hull and Athletics Australia by Jess’ father/coach, Simon Hull

MELBOURNE (AUS): Simon Hull, the coach and father of Jessica Hull, has denied a report of a rift between their camp and Australian Athletics, describing the narrative as “fabricated”, “ridiculous,” and a “shame,” informs nine.com.au. He said the reason Hull didn’t compete at the Maurie Plant Meet on Saturday was due to the short turnaround after the World Indoor Championships in Torun, where she won medals in both the 1500m and 3000m. “It’s just fabricated. There’s no truth in it at all. The relationship with AA is 100 percent spot on,” he said. “We’ve never had any issues with them, that’s for sure. It’s just bizarre.”
