Manchester United head into the final weeks of the season in a strong position to qualify for next seasons’s Champions League.
The Red Devils have ben hugely impressive since Michael Carrick was appointed as caretaker head coach in January, winning seven of their ten games under the Englishman.
It is currently unclear whether or not the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will be given the job permanently, but this summer looks set to be one of significant change at Old Trafford regardless, with a number of players seemingly set to be on the move.
With that in mind, reports from Italy claim that one of Serie A’s biggest clubs are interested in a Man United midfielder.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via CaughtOffside, Juventus are set to have scouts in attendance to watch Manuel Ugarte during Uruguay’s game against Algeria on Tuesday.

The report claims that the midfielder has emerged as a top target for the Serie A side as they look to bolster their midfield, and the Italian outfit will have officials present at Tuesday’s match in Turin.
Ugarte, 24, joined the Red Devils from French giants Paris Saint-Germain back in 2024 and has since made 68 appearances for the club across all competitions.
He has fallen somewhat out of favour this term, though, and it appears increasingly likely that the Uruguayan midfielder will depart Old Trafford this summer.
While Ugarte’s contract with United is set to run for three more years, the report suggests that Juventus could make a move to sign the player this summer, with the Serie A side set to make the most of Tuesday’s game taking place in Turin by sending scouts to watch Ugarte in action.
