New Super GT-themed DLC has been released for Project Motor Racing, adding iconic historic and modern Japanese sportscars like the A80 Toyota Supra and Honda Civic GT500 to the game.
- PMR’s Japanese GT500 pack out today (31st March 2026)
- Includes GT500 cars from 2002-2004 and 2021-2024, plus a new track
- DLC costs 9,99€
The team behind Project Motor Racing is hoping to change the narrative surrounding its beleaguered game, and some Super GT-themed content seems like a good place to start.
2002-2004 All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship
The Japanese GT500 Pack is out today, featuring nine cars from the top class of Japanese sports car racing. The DLC spans two distinct eras, the first of which evokes the 2002-2004 period when the championship was known as the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship.
Featuring GT500 A80 Toyota Supras, R33 Nissan Skylines and NA2 Honda NSXs, this is seen as the halcyon days of Japanese motorsport, when the cars were eminently relatable to the average person, resembling steroid-infused versions of their road-going counterparts.
Naturally, PMR’s new DLC includes all three of these famous models, which are also joined by the 2004 Nissan Fairlady Z (Z33).
2021-2024 Super GT

For the 2021-2024 period of GT500 racing, PMR has introduced two models each from Honda (NA3 NSX, Civic) and Nissan (R35 GT-R, RZ34 Z), as well as Toyota’s GR Supra. The Supra, Civic and Z were used up until 2025, before Honda introduced its new Prelude for 2026.
Regardless, PMR is the only modern sim to feature the most recent cars from the Super GT championship, making their inclusion something of a coup for developer Straight4 Studios.
Modern GT500 cars are known for their prodigious aerodynamic-infused pace and exciting driving dynamics, with hopes high that they’ll translate well to PMR, despite the game’s disappointing recent 2.0 update.
Takimiya Circuit

The Japanese GT500 Pack also includes a new track: Takimiya Circuit. This is essentially a version of Japan’s Okayama International Circuit (formerly known as TI Circuit Aida), continuing PMR’s trend towards including unlicensed facsimiles of famous venues.
