The unexpected ceremony was officiated by NXT’s Ryan Katz, who shared details of the emotional moment and revealed just how spontaneous everything really was on Facebook. Setting the scene, Katz explained that what started as a proposal instantly became something much bigger. He then confirmed that even he knew this wedding would be different — but not quite like this.
“One of the greatest joys in life is getting to experience love, and then share in the experience of love. Last night, I officiated my third wedding, but this one was special because it was a surprise. What?! Yes, not only was the wedding a surprise, but it started with a surprise engagement.”
According to Katz, the entire moment unfolded right in the middle of Times Square, turning a personal milestone into something unforgettable. Katz made it clear that being part of the moment meant a lot to him, especially given how unique the situation was.
“Under the bright lights of Times Square, Steve Corino married his childhood sweetheart and found his lifelong queen. It was an honor to be a part of the experience, and I wish the happy couple the best in eternal love.”
