Another TNA Knockout is officially done with the company, and this one happened quietly without any drama behind the scenes.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp and Corey Brennan, Dani Luna requested her release from TNA, and the company granted that request over the weekend. With that decision finalized, Luna is now officially a free agent.
The report made it clear that this wasn’t a messy split, as sources indicated there were no hard feelings between Luna and TNA when the release was approved.
“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp and Corey Brennan have learned that Dani Luna has requested her release from her TNA contract, and as of this weekend, had that request granted and is now a free agent. Those we spoke to said that there was no bad blood between the two parties.”
Luna’s exit comes shortly after her most recent appearance at TNA Sacrifice on March 27, where she competed in a match against Lei Ying Lee and TNA Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace. That match now stands as her final appearance for the promotion.
With her release now official, the focus shifts to what Luna does next. As a free agent, she now has the option to explore opportunities across other wrestling promotions or the independent scene.
Where do you think Dani Luna should land next — another major promotion or back on the independent scene? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.
