The heavyweight division in GLORY Kickboxing will take center stage this summer as newly crowned champion Mory Kromah makes the first defense of his title against Serbian contender Milos Cvjeticanin at COLLISION 9 on June 13.

The event will take place at the iconic Rotterdam Ahoy, one of kickboxing’s most famous venues and the traditional home of GLORY’s biggest shows.

Kromah Begins Reign as “King of Kickboxing”

Kromah (37-3-1, 21 KOs) captured the vacant GLORY heavyweight championship earlier this year in the finale of the promotion’s massive Last Heavyweight Standing tournament.

The yearlong competition featured more than sixty heavyweights, with Kromah surviving the brutal bracket to claim the throne and earn the nickname “King of Kickboxing.”

Now the powerful champion begins his reign with a familiar opponent.

Cvjeticanin Seeks Redemption After Injury Withdrawal

Cvjeticanin (19-5, 10 KOs) was originally scheduled to face Kromah in the tournament finale earlier this year.

Despite suffering a broken toe in his opening fight, the Serbian powerhouse pushed through the tournament’s quarterfinal and semifinal rounds. However, the injury ultimately forced him to withdraw before the championship bout could take place.

The June 13 matchup finally gives Cvjeticanin the title opportunity that slipped away earlier in the year.

Rivalry Already Has History

This will not be the first meeting between the two heavyweights.

Kromah previously defeated Cvjeticanin by decision at GLORY: COLLISION 7 in 2024, beginning a rivalry that has only intensified as both fighters rose through the ranks.

Since that bout, both men have built reputations as fan favorites thanks to highlight-reel knockouts and explosive performances inside the GLORY ring.

Light Heavyweight Grand Prix Also Set for COLLISION 9

In addition to the heavyweight title fight, COLLISION 9 will feature a one-night, eight-man tournament to crown the new GLORY light heavyweight world champion.

Participants in the tournament will be announced in the coming weeks, while several fighters will compete for spots during **GLORY 107 on April 25.

The light heavyweight tournament is the first of several grand prix events planned for 2026, with similar eight-man tournaments at welterweight and heavyweight scheduled later in the year.
