Report: Update on potential late additions to WrestleMania 42

New reports have pointed to the card for WrestleMania 42 nearing its completion, following some final additions still to come.

There is internal expectation that the two-night event, which has seen twelve matches confirmed as of this writing, will ultimately feature around fourteen matches across both nights per WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select.

One match believed to be on the way is a six-man tag team affair pitting The Usos & LA Knight against The Vision and content creator IShowSpeed, with the 3/30 edition of WWE Raw seemingly setting the path for the match.

The report comes after Knight appeared on a recent IShowSpeed live stream to confront the creator, which ended with Speed being sent flying over his stream setup.

Other plans include internal discussion for the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match, with talent across both WWE brands and AAA reportedly being considered for inclusion in the bout.

There has been no concrete update on plans for Carmelo Hayes at WrestleMania, though WWE is said to be aware of the online criticism surrounding his absence from the United States Title scene.

Rounding out the potential plans is a possible appearance from rapper Lil Yachty, reportedly in the works following an invitation by Trick Williams to appear on the 4/3 edition of SmackDown.

This has been further teased by Williams himself during an appearance on HOT 97’s Mornings with Mero, while talking about plans for his match at WrestleMania 42 against Sami Zayn.

WrestleMania 42 emanates from Allegiant Stadium in Paradise (Las Vegas), Nevada on April 18 and April 19.
