Josh Allen baby name: Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s baby already has a nickname.
On Thursday, April 2, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, announced that after months of preparation, they finally had their baby, and it’s a girl. The news quickly had Allen dubbed a “girl dad,” and as it turns out, Allen and Steinfeld’s baby also has a nickname. So, what’s this baby name?
“We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savoring these early moments,” the couple shared on Thursday through Steinfeld’s “Beau Society” newsletter. They also thanked supporters for their “love and well wishes” during this happy time.
It’s worth noting that the couple didn’t share exactly the date their daughter was born, so it’s possible she was born earlier. Perhaps making the announcement on April 1 would have been mistaken as a joke. Overall, the two have been private about Steinfeld’s time being pregnant and never revealed the due date to the public. They did, however, initially announce the news in December 2025 through the “Beau Society” newsletter.
So, the baby is here, and she already has a nickname that’s gaining popularity. It’s a sweet nickname that fits well with Allen’s role as the franchise quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.

In February, Steinfeld shared a photo of herself showing off her growing bump in the kitchen with her husband sitting in front of her. The photo was on her social media accounts, as well as in the “Beau Society” newsletter, and in the latter, she talked about being able to hide her baby bump in warm clothes amid a cold Buffalo winter.
“Luckily, I spent a good part of my pregnancy in cold, snowy Buffalo,” she stated, “so I was wearing a lot of large sweaters and jackets—not because I was uncomfortable with my body changing, but because I had to bundle up to stay warm. And I wasn’t really showing until I got back home.”
