Liv Morgan is heading into WrestleMania 42 feeling confident, and she made it clear she believes the momentum is on her side after winning the Royal Rumble.
While speaking with 8 News Now — Las Vegas, Morgan talked about the energy surrounding her current run and how proud she is to be walking into the biggest show of the year with a title opportunity. Morgan explained that everything feels like it’s lining up at the right time as she prepares for her championship shot on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
“Luckily, I feel the same way. I feel so much good energy. I’m so proud to be heading to WrestleMania and hopefully walking out the new Women’s World Champion.”
Las Vegas is packed with events and distractions during WrestleMania week, but Morgan said she plans to stay locked in this time around. She compared this year to last year, when she had more time to enjoy the city, but now her focus is fully on winning the title. Morgan also pointed out that having her family there makes the moment even bigger, and she hopes to celebrate with them once the match is over.
“Honestly, I am pretty focused on my match. Last year I got to explore a little bit more. I was hosting Club LIV for a night. That was amazing. This year I’m going to be a little bit more low key, really hone in and focus on winning this championship. My family’s coming to watch me, and also I think I’m just gonna hopefully celebrate with them after the show.”
Morgan clearly isn’t treating this like just another match. Between the momentum from the Royal Rumble and the support from her family, she’s heading into WrestleMania 42 believing this could be her moment to walk out with championship gold.
