Despite Pat McAfee calling out lower ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 on WWE SmackDown, that hasn’t led to widespread ticket comps for talent.
According to a report from Bryan Alvarez, WWE is still telling many internally that comps are not being distributed this year, even as the company jokes about attendance on television. He said, “WWE still claiming at least to a lot of people that there are no comps this year even though they’re making fun of their own low attendance on Smackdown.”
Fightful supported that claim, noting that WWE has been especially strict with comp tickets. Some talent have reportedly been told they may only receive tickets for one night, with final approval coming close to the event — a policy that has largely been in place since the TKO Group Holdings era began.
For the second year in a row, WrestleMania will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV.
