Backstage News On WWE Reportedly Tightening WrestleMania Comp Ticket Distribution

Bryan Alvarez recently took to his Twitter account to reveal that WWE has informed “a lot of people” that no complimentary tickets for WrestleMania will be distributed this year. This news comes after Pat McAfee hinted at disappointing ticket sales for this year’s event while joking about low attendance during SmackDown.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp later confirmed this report, stating that the company is “being very strict” regarding this matter with its talents. He mentioned that some individuals have been told they will only receive tickets “very close to the show,” and only if they are approved, which aligns with TKO’s policy over the past two years. There have been reports of discontent among some talents regarding this policy.

Earlier this year, Hall of Famer Rikishi expressed his frustration about no longer receiving access to complimentary tickets for WWE events, despite having a WWE Legends deal and three sons on the main roster.

WWE WrestleMania 42 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
