Young goalkeeper Stephen Kwame Darko has sadly passed away.
The Namoro Football Academy shot-stopper died on Saturday, April 4, 2024.
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed but his club confirmed his demise on social media.
“Good evening family, on behalf of the President, C.E.O Management, Players and the entire Namoro Football Academy family, we wish to sorrowfully announce the sudden demise our player, Stephen Kwame Darko. This sad event occurred this afternoon( Saturday, 4th April, 2026). The funeral arrangements, in consultation with the family will be made known in due course. Thank you all,” wrote Namoro Football Academy on Facebook.
The family of the goalie are yet to announce a date for the funeral of the footballer.
