New York Giants Sign Former Packers’ 73 Game Offensive Lineman
The New York Giants have officially signed offensive lineman Lucas Patrick to a one year deal, per multiple sources. Patrick spent six seasons in Green Bay (2016-2021) before bouncing around the league.
During his time in Green Bay he played all over the interior offensive line, lining up at both guard positions until he played center in his final year with the team. In 2022 he would sign with the Chicago Bears and spend two seasons with them.
From there he spent a year with the New Orleans Saints and then the Cincinnati Bengals in 2025. The move is expected to provide depth to the offensive line in New York, who will have the job of protecting Jaxson Dart and providing running lanes for Cam Skattebo.
It will be interesting to see how new head coach John Harbaugh implements the 32 year old in their new system.
Lucas Patrick Career NFL Stats

Patrick came into the league as an un-drafted free agent in 2016 after spending four years with the Duke Blue Devils. He would go on to sign a contract with the Packer but wouldn’t see game action until the 2017 season. Here is a look at his career stats:
- 113 career games (65 career starts)
- 34 starts for the Packers
- 20 starts for the Bears
- 10 starts for the Saints
- 1 start for the Bengals
- 1 fumble recovery
- 1 career tackle
It will be interesting to see if Patrick is able to carve out a starting role in New York.
