Former Baltimore Ravens right guard Daniel Faalele is signing with the New York Giants and ex-HC John Harbaugh in free agency.
The New York Giants and head coach John Harbaugh aren’t done signing former Baltimore Ravens — and they aren’t done reinforcing the offensive line either — as the latest NFL free agency news reports right guard Daniel Faalele is joining Big Blue.
“The Giants continue to add their O-line before the Draft, agreeing to terms with former Ravens G Daniel Faalele on a 1-year deal, sources say,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport relayed on April 8.
Continuing: “The 6-foot-8 Faalele started every game over the last 2 seasons and has a familiarity with several coaches, including John Harbaugh.”
Heavy on Giants identified Faalele as a potential late free agency target on March 28, but that was before Big Blue brought in veteran Lucas Patrick at guard earlier this week. With Patrick, the Giants finally had a true starting candidate at right guard. Now, with Faalele, they have two.
