Manchester City return to Premier League action on Sunday when they visit Chelsea.
The Citizens lifted the Carabao Cup last month, beating Arsenal in the final, and have since set up an FA Cup semi-final against Southampton after defeating Liverpool 4-0.
In the league, though, Pep Guardiola’s side sit nine points behind leaders Arsenal, although they do have a game-in-hand over the Gunners.
City also welcome Arsenal to The Etihad in April, which could prove to be a crucial match in the Premier League title race.
Ahead of their visit to Stamford Bridge, though, it has emerged that City are in the race to sign a talented young German.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Man City have joined the race to land Hertha Berlin teenager Kennet Eichhorn, who is attracting significant interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 16-year-old is a product of Hertha’s youth academy and, despite his age, has already made 15 appearances for the club at senior level across all competitions.

Eichhorn has scored once in that time, but his impressive displays in defensive midfield have attracted interest from several clubs.
The report suggests that teams in both the Premier League and Bundesliga are already showing interest in the midfielder, who made his senior debut in the 2 Bundesliga in August last year.
Eichhorn has featured heavily for Hertha in the German second division this season, with the Berlin side currently sat sixth in the table.
It is claimed that City see the teenager as a player with an interesting profile and are therefore monitoring his situation ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
