Scotland athletes will compete this weekend at the Run Through Lake District Running Festival.
Runners will take on the 53k event in Keswick in the Lake District on Saturday.
We are pleased to have selected eight athletes to represent Scotland at this new ultra trail event in ultra trail running.
Scotland Women:
Nikki Arthur (Manx Fell Runners); Catriona Graves (Highland HR); Kirsty Oldham (Dundee Hawkhill); Kari Robertson
Scotland Men:
Robin Downie (Lochaber AC); Alastair Graves (Ochil); Angus Irvine (Motherwell AC); Keith Wigley (Swaledale)
The race starts in Keswick and runs along Derwent Water and through Seathwaite as runners ascending Scafell Pike into Wasdale. The course then moves round Kirk Fell to Honister Pass before summiting High Spy and descending Catbells back to Keswick.
Athletes will tackle 2640m of ascent and descent over the 53km course.
