Tyson Fury due for emphatic return as Supercomputer predicts 8th Round TKO over Arslanbek Makhmudov
Ahead of former two-time heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury’s return to the ring this weekend against Arslanbek Makhmudov, a Supercomputer from AceOdds predicts an 8th round TKO from the Gypsy King.
Using current performance, punch statistics, durability metrics and stylistic analysis, AceOdds simulated the fight over 10,000 times to determine the most likely result.
Tyson Fury was given a 61% chance of a mid-late KO due to his higher output of punches per round, his ability to manage distance and pressure and his experience and success at the highest level of boxing.
Even though Arslanbek Makhmudov does have a higher accuracy (45%) and KO power (90%) – which pairs perfectly with his linear pressure fight style, it may not be enough to compare with Tyson Fury’s experience at the elite level of boxing.
AceOdds also have odds predicting Fury to win in Round 8 at 10/1.
In summary, Tyson Fury should have a perfect return to the ring, which should set him up for a title shot or a big British showdown with Anthony Joshua.

Methodology
The prediction is based on a Monte Carlo-style simulation that runs 10,000 virtual fight scenarios, using weighted data on each fighter’s punch output, accuracy, power, durability, stamina, recent form, and style matchup. In each simulated round, the model estimates punches landed, damage accumulation, and the likelihood of a knockdown or knockout, with heavier weighting given to sustained control, adaptability, and ring IQ from Tyson Fury, alongside early-round knockout power from Arslanbek Makhmudov. Fatigue effects are applied as the fight progresses, with particular emphasis on Makhmudov’s potential drop-off in output and durability in the later rounds, while Fury’s ability to manage distance and pace is factored into long-fight scenarios. Results are then aggregated across all simulations to produce the most likely winner, method of victory, and round of stoppage.
