Two suspensions were issued on the April 9 episode of TNA iMPACT after a chaotic backstage situation spiraled out of control.
The trouble started after tensions involving Stacks and Arianna Grace escalated and spilled into the women’s locker room. Santino Marella ended up entering the locker room during the situation, which quickly became the center of controversy once things settled down.
Later in the show, authority figure Daria Rae confronted Marella and suspended him indefinitely for assaulting talent and entering the women’s locker room. The punishment immediately removed him from his role and added another layer of tension to the ongoing storyline.
Indi Hartwell also found herself caught in the fallout. While trying to defend Marella during the confrontation, she accidentally bumped into Rae. That contact was treated as assault, leading Rae to suspend Hartwell indefinitely as well.
With both Santino Marella and Indi Hartwell now suspended, the situation leaves a noticeable gap in leadership and adds more chaos to an already unstable environment on TNA television. The double suspension could have major ripple effects moving forward, especially with multiple storylines already heating up.
