Welterweight Chase Mann was looking to secure a spot against champ Christian Lee when he faced off against Dzhabir Dzhabrailov in the ONE Fight Night 42 main event.
Mixed Martial Arts was back in the spotlight, headlining a show that included Muay Thai and submission grappling action. It was Mann getting the star turn, however, after starting his career a perfect 7-0 and earning a win in his ONE Championship debut earlier this year.
Opposite the “Mannimal” in Bangkok was Dzhabir Dzhabrailov, an undefeated Turkish fighter who was 6-0 with three wins under the ONE banner and also looking to push towards champ Lee. With a 100% finish rate, Dzhabrailov had proven dominant in his career to date.
