Next week’s WrestleMania go-home episode of SmackDown is starting to take shape, and it looks like WWE is sticking with a familiar tradition.
The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal is currently expected to return on the blue brand ahead of WrestleMania. The battle royal has become a yearly fixture on the WrestleMania go-home episode of SmackDown, with the match airing there every year since 2021 after previously being part of WrestleMania itself through 2019. If plans stay in place, that tradition will continue once again during the Las Vegas edition of the show.
Fightful Select reports that another major match is planned for the episode. Current plans call for an 8-Man tag team match featuring MFTs going up against The Wyatts. While WWE hasn’t officially announced the match yet, it’s reportedly being discussed internally as part of the WrestleMania weekend lineup.
With WrestleMania season reaching its final stretch, the go-home episode of SmackDown is expected to carry major momentum, and adding the Andre Battle Royal along with a multi-team showdown could make it one of the busiest shows leading into the big weekend.
