2025 stats: Second Team All-American, First Team All-SEC

Proctor was a five-star recruit in the class of 2023 who signed with Alabama out of Iowa. He immediately played for the Crimson Tide and was named to the All-SEC Freshman team for his play. After a brief transfer to Iowa in the spring, Proctor returned to Alabama for the 2024 season. He was named Second Team All-SEC in 2024, as he helped Alabama to a 9-4 record. In 2025, Proctor was First Team All-SEC and Second Team All-American and led Alabama to a CFP appearance.

Following the 2025 season, Proctor declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a first or second-round pick.

Kadyn Proctor Strengths

Proctor has great size for an NFL offensive tackle. He measured in at 6-foot-7 and 352 pounds at the NFL combine. Proctor will have to make sure his weight stays down, but he has great play strength as is. With his strength, he also has great length, as his arms measured in at 33 and 7/8 inches. His length and strength help him control his matchups.

His run blocking is specifically impressive. Proctor is able to move block, but is also able to completely move defenders out of the way to clear big holes. His grip strength is great, as he is able to sustain blocks for a solid amount of time. Getting to the second level has its challenges for Proctor, but he can execute them at times.

In pass protection, he can handle all power rushers with a great anchor. Pass rushers will not be able to bull rush him with good success. He sets his anchor with a solid base and doesn’t often get moved off his spot. His size will be tough for plenty of pass rushers to deal with.

Kadyn Proctor Weaknesses

While he is an impressive run blocker, it is mostly about his ability to make blocks at the first level. Proctor doesn’t have the greatest quickness and it can take time for him to get to the second level. He can also have trouble hitting his landmarks once he does get to the second level.

Proctor can struggle with athletic pass rushers. There are times when players who are quick at the snap and have success speed rushing can get around the edge. Proctor doesn’t have the quickness to keep up and defenders have the flexibility to bend around the edge. Teams may consider moving him to guard because he can be exposed at times.

At times, Proctor can overset to try to compensate for his lack of quickness. This opens him up to getting beat by inside moves and counters. Proctor will have to trust his technique and not get too wide to protect his inside shoulder.

Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick-Second Round Pick

Draft Grade: Second Round Pick
