Pat McAfee Reveals His “Massive Surprise” Announcement Being 25% Off Tickets Discount for WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the SAP Center in San Jose, California featured Pat McAfee revealing what his promised “massive surprise” announcement being just 25% off tickets for Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 on April 18th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During the show, McAfee came out to the ring and after an insults-filled barrage directed at the San Jose crowd, IWC, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, McAfee talked about Punk mentioning that tickets are too high especially when Punk is one of the main events, he agrees with Punk. McAfee continued stating that if it wasn’t for Orton, why would anyone spend their money to watch WrestleMania.

McAfee stated that he decided to be their hero and even if they don’t deserve it, he decided to help the fans out. McAfee continued stating that he called RAM Trucks, who are the official sponsor of WrestleMania 42, and asked them to pick up 25% of the bill to anyone who buys a ticket for WrestleMania Saturday from now until this Monday’s WWE RAW show. Night Raw. McAfee continued stating “WrestleMania Sunday night is ass” and he doesn’t recommend anyone spending money on that but WrestleMania Saturday, they see Randy Orton. McAfee proclaimed that Orton will save the business and then continued insulting the crowd asking them if the Sharks won any Stanley Cups and called them ass and the city of San Jose the same.


Royce Keys Makes SmackDown Debut & Wins Main Roster Debut Match

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Royce Keys making his official SmackDown brand debut.

During the show, a video aired introducing Keys to WWE. Keys talked about his own rough past and childhood before he came to WWE. Keys stated that he wanted to be defined by where he was going rather than where he started from.

In a follow-up, Keys made his official in-ring SmackDown debut against Berto in a singles match, which was won by Keys.

This was Keys’ first televised appearance and match since this past January’s Royal Rumble 2026 event.


Danhausen Wins WWE In-Ring Debut Match

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Danhausen making his official in-ring debut in WWE.

Danhausen competed against Kit Wilson in a singles match, which was won by Danhausen after he cursed Wilson twice. The first causing the ring post to shoot out pyro when Wilson attempted a top rope move leading to Wilson falling down and the second for the big boot for the pinfall victory.


Current Card For Next Week’s Show

Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured two new matches announced for the card of next week’s show on April 17th at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
