The Henderson Silver Knights defeated the San Jose Barracuda, 4-1, at Lee’s Family Forum on Saturday night.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
The first period stayed quiet through the first half until San Jose’s Kasper Halttunen got the Barracuda on the board at 10:56 while on the power play. In the waning minutes of the period, Jackson Hallum and Braeden Bowman each scored giving Henderson their first lead of the game.
The score did not change through the second period. Trevor Connelly broke the silence with a power play goal nearly seven minutes into the third frame. Matyas Sapovaliv scored an empty netter and secured the 4-1 victory for Henderson.
