The Green Bay Packers Fans Make Massive Donation To Disabled Veterans

The Green Bay Packers are home to the smallest community that hosts a football team in the NFL, and it’s not even close.  Their immediate population is around 105,000 while the entire metro area accounts for around 320,000 people.  The next smallest NFL city is Buffalo (1.1M to 1.2) and New Orleans (1.2M to 1.3M).

However, that doesn’t prevent Green Bay fans from making donations to some of the most important organizations out there.

Packers Make Donation To Disabled Veterans

Sources say that Green Bay fans raised $21,000 throughout the 2025 season for the group of Disabled Veterans of America.  The donations came through several game-day tailgate fundraisers and raffles held at the Bart Starr Tailgate Plaza:

All the money that is raised comes to Russell White Chapter 3 and that helps veterans with rent, utilities car payments, whatever they find they need assistance for. This money is able to help them come back on their feet.

Matt Kempainen, DAV Wisconsin Adjutant

Kempainen added that each of the last five Packers seasons has seen fans raise at least $20,000 for disabled veterans.
