Random Ramsdom: Team leaning offensive line?

The Los Angeles Rams may not be able to trade back this NFL Draft, so will the Rams have to take the best player available? If so, could it be an offensive lineman? You check out the link below, Jim Everett has some real takes.

Also, I was watching Locked On Rams and they proposed the idea that L.A. could find wide receivers later in the draft, more easily than they can find viable offensive lineman. That’s a thought.

“Former Rams quarterback Jim Everett has another spot in mind for the Rams at No. 13 overall: offensive line.

In an interview with Action Network, Everett pointed out that four of the Rams’ five offensive linemen are only under contract through the 2026 season. Coleman Shelton, Steve Avila, Kevin Dotson and Warren McClendon Jr. are all set to be free agents in 2027 if they don’t re-sign with the Rams beforehand, which is a slight problem for Los Angeles.“

“Competition should always be welcomed at the quarterback position if a franchise has a clear idea of who the starting signal-caller will be.

On Monday, the New York Giants signed a 33-year-old former San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams quarterback to compete with the organization’s 2025 first-round pick, Jaxson Dart.“

“Boston & Rodriguez would be an incredible outcome in my opinion. But I’d probably take any combo of players at 28 & 38 vs 13.

I like lemon. I think he’ll be a real good player. I just think adding 28 & 38 is better for our short & long term roster than just adding 13. The exception would be if the rams feel like a foundational type of player slips to us…
