What You Didn’t See with Sting’s Son Steven Borden Before April 15 AEW Dynamite

AEW kicked things off early in Everett, Washington, before Dynamite went live, and Sting’s son picked up a win in front of the crowd.

Two dark matches took place inside Angel of the Winds Arena ahead of the Spring BreakThru edition of AEW Dynamite on April 15.

The first match featured Steven Borden Jr., the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sting, taking on masked wrestler Lobo Del Desiento. Borden Jr. scored the win, continuing to build momentum as he gains more in-ring experience. Hook made noise before the second dark match even started.

Before facing Evil Uno, Hook grabbed the microphone and trashed the local crowd, calling Everett a “sh*t town.” Once the match began, Hook backed it up in the ring and forced Evil Uno to tap out for the submission victory.

After the dark matches wrapped up, AEW moved into the live Spring BreakThru episode of Dynamite on TBS and HBO Max.

Steven Borden Jr. getting another win and Hook running down the crowd made sure the night started with some attention before the main show even began.

Do you think Steven Borden Jr. has the tools to make a real impact in AEW, or did Hook steal the spotlight with his heel-style moment? Let us know what you think.
