Following the UFC’s announcement of Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson’s signing, he is expected to make his promotional debut at UFC 329 on July 11 in Las Vegas.
Steveson enters as one of the most decorated wrestlers ever to transition into MMA, bringing elite grappling credentials into a heavyweight division still searching for clear top-end depth. While his opponent has not been officially announced, according to sportsbook Lucky Rebel, the fast-growing sportsbook designed for sports fans, prop markets have already opened on potential matchups for his debut.
At the top of the board is Chris Barnett, a durable, fan-friendly heavyweight known for his explosive striking and unpredictability. He’s followed closely by Don’Tale Mayes, a long-time UFC veteran with size and experience but inconsistent results, and Hamdy Abdelwahab, an Olympic-caliber wrestler whose grappling background could mirror Steveson’s.
With matchmaking still undecided, the market offers an early read on the type of opponent likely being considered for Steveson’s first UFC appearance. Full odds are here and below.
