Following its release last year, Formula Legends has been through somewhat of a revolution.
A long list of paid downloadable content has arrived, both cars and tracks, but so too notable quality-of-life enhancements such as updated collision systems and even wheel support. Recently, development team 3DClouds added F1 2026-style vehicles, and now the diminutive racer will offer its first officially licensed content – Formula E.
This doesn’t sound like a half-hearted measure, either. A thread that runs through the single-seater title to chart the evolution of racing, so naturally, three areas for Formula E will be represented – GEN1, GEN2 and GEN3 EVO.
All of the current 2026-season teams and liveries will be incorporated alongside, impressively, six scaled-down versions of real-world circuits used by the electrified championship.
During the race, a form of Attack Mode – driving through a dedicated zone twice per race enables a temporary power boost – will be recreated, and a pitstop animation resembling Pit Boost is also set to feature.
“By bringing the GEN1- GEN3EVO race cars into this stylised world, fans can experience the future of racing,” said Sanjay Shivaram, Brand Licensing & Retail Director at Formula E.
“We’re particularly excited about the “cute” vehicles and style of racing, which sits uniquely in our gaming offering.”
Entitled Formula E: Electric Evolution, the DLC pack will release on 30th April 2026 for PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms. Like the recent Iconic Tracks pack, a Nintendo Switch release will follow later. It will be priced at £7.99 GBP / $7.99 USD / €7.99.
