Elton Prince’s Recovery Still Has No Timeline After Neck Surgery

Elton Prince’s recovery from neck surgery is still in the early stages, and his tag team partner Kit Wilson is making it clear that patience remains the key as the Pretty Deadly star continues healing.

During an appearance on The Mark Hoke Show at WrestleMania Media Day, Wilson provided another update on Prince’s condition following his recent two-level neck fusion surgery. After earlier reports confirmed the procedure was successful, Wilson reinforced that while things are moving in the right direction, there is still no timeline for when Prince could return to action.

Wilson was asked directly about how Prince is progressing and whether there was any indication of a return window. He made it clear that although the surgery went well, the recovery process is still in its earliest phase and far from predictable.

“Uh we don’t have a time frame at the moment. We’re just—he’s still kind of—he’s had the surgery, it’s been successful. Things are good. It’s just early days. It just, you know, as long as he’s been out, it’s still early days in the process of recovery. So, we’re just—we’re just waiting really. We’re just waiting.”

Prince’s injury has been one of the more serious health scares involving a WWE tag team in recent memory. Earlier this year, fans learned that the Pretty Deadly member underwent a two-level neck fusion after suffering neurological symptoms following a bad landing in the ring. The surgery itself marked a major step forward, but recovery from neck fusion procedures is widely known to be lengthy and unpredictable.

Wilson has previously spoken about how emotional the injury was, noting that Prince isn’t just a tag partner but a longtime friend, making the situation even more difficult to handle. Still, the most important takeaway from this latest update is that Prince is stable, recovering, and moving through the process carefully rather than rushing back too soon.

For Pretty Deadly fans hoping to see the duo back together, this update reinforces the reality that Prince’s return won’t happen overnight. Neck injuries require careful management, and WWE talent returning from procedures like this often face extended recovery timelines before stepping back into the ring.

Do you think Elton Prince will be able to return to the ring at the same level after this kind of neck surgery, or should WWE take extra caution with his comeback? Let us know what you think in the comments and share your thoughts.
