Isaiah World Background
Position: Offensive Tackle
School:
Oregon
Size:
6-foot-5 1/2, 323 pounds
Class: Senior
2025 stats: All-Big Ten Second Team (Media)
World was a three-star recruit in the class of 2021 who signed with Nevada out of California. He redshirted in 2021, then stepped into the starting lineup in 2022. World had a good season in 2023, as he was an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention. He was once again an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention in 2024, but the Wolfpack won just five games over his last two seasons with the team. World transferred to Oregon for the 2025 season and was named All-Big Ten Second Team by the media. He led the Ducks to 13 wins and an appearance in the CFP.
Following the season, World has been preparing for the 2026 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a mid to late round pick.
Isaiah World Strengths
World has great size for an NFL offensive tackle. He measured in at over 6-foot-5 and 323 pounds at the NFL Combine. With his size comes great play strength for the position. He also had amazing length for the position, as his arms were 34.5 inches. His strength and length can make it hard for defenders to shed.
His movement for his size is pretty solid. World is a good linear athlete, as he shows solid quickness and can get to the second level on run plays. He won’t wow people with his athleticism, but it is solid, especially for his size. He shows good body control in space and can get to the second level decently.
He is a good fit for a gap running scheme. World can dominate his matchup in one on one situations, moving defenders completely out of the way. He opens up running lanes and can sustain his blocks with his length and strength at an adequate level.
Isaiah World Weaknesses
World needs to improve his technique, especially his hand usage. He has strong hands, but needs to get them activated quicker. With quicker hands to go with their strength, World can really get a leg up on plays. He also needs to make sure he keeps his hands inside when he punches to really help.
His lateral agility can give him some issues. World needs to shore up his footwork to be more smooth. He can really struggle against pass rushers who have good inside counters. He needs to work on his technique and then trust it to prevent him from getting beat to the inside.
He often stands straight up, which elevates his pad level. World needs to work on keeping his pad level down so that he can retain his power. When he stands straight up he loses power and can get off balance.
Projected Draft Range: Third Round Pick-Fifth Round Pick
Draft Grade: Third Round Pick
