London, UK (April 18th, 2026)– In the main event on a Netflix eleven bouts card at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the United Kingdom, on Saturday, April 11, 2026, former World Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury made a successful comeback with a won a hard fought 12 round decision over Arslanbek Makhmudov to set up a potential match if they agree to the current negotiation with former World Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Fury, 35-2 with 24 knockouts, Morecambe, Lancashire, United Kingdom, inactive for 16 months, and without a win since 2023, used combinations, uppercuts, and superior body work. Makhmudov, 21-3 with 19 knockouts, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, by way of Mozdok, Russian Federation, landed some nice counters, but could not match Fury’s work rate. Fury, at 265 pounds, had to deal with Makhmudov, who, at 268 pounds, outweighed him and therefore could not be outmuscled and outwrestled in that sense.

Fury averaged 17 punches landed per round to Mahmudov’s five punches landed per round. Makhmudov never landed more than eight punches a round. His defense was significant. However, his offense was limited compared to Fury’s. Fury landed 199 of 498 punches thrown overall for a 40 percent landing rate. Makhmudov landed 59 of 280 punches for a 21 percent landing rate overall. Fury landed 73 jabs to Makhmudov’s 13. This enabled Fury to win rounds. Fury landed 126 power shots to Makhmudov’s 46. Makhmudov did well enough to remain in the house, but won only one round on one scorecard. Makhmudov’s first round was decent. After that, he was just outworked.

Fury switched stances at times, keeping Makhmudov off balance. When Makhmudov held, he was unable to stop Fury from hitting him while holding Fury. Makhmudov’s straight-ahead, come-forward style with no head movement revealed a well-chiseled, muscular frame with some power, with no ring generalship or a game plan. Makhmudov’s chin was solid on this occasion, his counters significant when they did land. Fury’s lead uppercut was lethal, creating both opportunities and punch angles for which Makhmudov had no answer. A polished performance for. Fury, but only a survival game for Makhmudov. There were no knockdowns or fouls. Makhmudov was pushed to the floor once.

Results: 120-108, 120-108, 119-109 for Tyson Fury. Referee: Mark Bates
