After a disappointing loss last night, the Nats are now 1-6 at home. They need to improve that mark and will have a chance to do that this afternoon. Cade Cavalli also has a chance to bounce back after one of the worst starts of his career last time out.
The biggest news of this lineup is that Jose Tena is hitting third. Tena had three hits last night, so his manager Blake Butera decided to reward him. Jacob Young is also back in the lineup after missing one game after being hit in the wrist. Jorbit Vivas and Drew Millas are also back in the lineup today. That means Brady House will get the day off. Cade Cavalli lost the zone and could not get out of the second inning in his last start, so he will look to bounce back.
The Giants only made one change to their lineup. It is behind the plate, with Patrick Bailey replacing Daniel Susac. Bailey is one of the best defenders in the league, but really struggles with the bat. Otherwise, Tony Vitello is rolling with the same group that scored 10 last night. Veteran Adrian Houser will get the ball for the Giants today.
