Jalen Farmer NFL Draft Profile

The 2026 NFL Draft will be a great event for teams to start building for their future. Here is the Jalen Farmer NFL Draft Profile.

Jalen Farmer Background

Position: Interior Offensive Line

School:
Kentucky

Size:
6-foot-4 7/8,  312 pounds

Class: Redshirt Junior

2025 stats: Started all 12 games

Farmer was a three-star recruit in the class of 2022 who signed with Florida out of Georgia. He redshirted in his first year on campus and got limited experience the next year as well. For the 2024 season, Farmer transferred to Kentucky. He started at right guard for the Wildcats and helped the team win four games. Farmer reclaimed his spot at right guard. Although he played well, the Wildcats won just five games on the season.

Following the season, Farmer declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. He is currently projected to be a mid-round pick.

Jalen Farmer Strengths

Farmer has solid size for the NFL interior offensive line, as he measured in at just under 6-foot-5 and 312 pounds. He can add some more strength to his game to improve, but he has decent power already. He has long arms as well that are over 34 inches. With the combination of his length and strength, Farmer can sustain blocks fairly well.

He really impresses as a run blocker at this point of his career. Farmer can do well in zone or gap concepts. He does a good job of building early momentum and can drive defenders out of the way to open up holes for running backs. In one-on-one blocks, he will clear his man out of the way, although getting to the second level can sometimes give him some trouble.

His demeanor really helps his play, as he competes with a chip on his shoulder. Farmer routinely finishes plays by playing through the whistle. He also looks for work in pass pro when there is no one in front of him and shows good effort on most plays.

Jalen Farmer Weaknesses

His pass pro could use some work before it is NFL-ready. Farmer can struggle to mirror athletic pass rushers and gives up his edges too easily. Pass rushers can get him off-balance and he often fails to keep up with them. He can also improve his ability to anchor against power rushers.

He can run block well, but one area that can use improvement is his ability to hit second-level blocks. Farmer can struggle to hit the mark on the second level, as he can have some struggles in space. Right now, he should be expected to block his man well, but making another block at the next level isn’t as clean.

His awareness is good for what is in front of him, but he doesn’t always show good peripheral vision. Farmer can get lost agains pressure and not recognize it, as his eyes can be misplaced. While he looks for work, he doesn’t always see it. He’ll need to see where pressure is coming from quicker to help pick it up.

Projected Draft Range: Third Round Pick-Fifth Round Pick

Draft Grade: Fourth Round Pick
