The Indiana Fever kicked off the first day of training camp on Sunday. Caitlin Clark was in attendance for the first official practice as they prepare to start their season on May 9.
Clark’s return is a welcome sight among Fever fans. The two-time All-Star battled through multiple injuries last season, resulting in just 13 games played. She averaged 16.5 points on 36.7% shooting, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.2 triples in her limited time on the court.
The good news is that Clark is now fully healthy as she looks to make amends in her third WNBA season.

The Fever posted a photo of Clark at the team facility on Instagram. The 24-year-old was all smiles as she posed alongside teammate Aliyah Boston, who recently signed a record-breaking contract extension with Indiana.
Clark, however, could not help but notice an issue with the photo. The former Iowa Hawkeye star was unhappy with how she looked in the picture, prompting a personal request to the team.
“Plz don’t use filters that make me more pale 😭” Clark commented.
Regardless of how pale she may have looked in the photo, fans were just excited to see Clark back in practice. She looked great in the FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in March, winning MVP honors. The Indiana faithful are hoping she can carry that momentum into the new WNBA season.
The Fever will play its first preseason game on Saturday. They will head over to Barclays Center in Brooklyn to take on Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty.
