The time after WrestleMania is always when WWE likes to mix things up a bit, and that usually means bringing up some NXT talent, which is exactly what happened again this time.
Liv Morgan beat Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42 to become Women’s World Champion. During Morgan’s acceptance speech this week, Sol Ruca interrupted in a big way.
Fans popped for Sol Ruca in a big way and chanted for Sol Ruca. Sol said that she’s been watching Liv Morgan for years and admiring her. She called Liv the top female in the division, but Morgan wasn’t happy about the interruption; however, she appreciated the kind words. Then Liv told Sol Ruca, “you are no Liv Morgan, sweetie.” Sol said she wasn’t out there to pick a fight, but she’s not backing down from one either. After that, Adam Pearce came out to book Sol Ruca versus Liv Morgan.
Sol Ruca is still slated to battle Zaria on NXT this week in a Last Woman Standing match this week on NXT. Only time will tell what happens in that encounter, but she has racked up a few wins over Zaria already.
