“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, the AAA Mega Champion, faced “The Demon” Finn Bálor in a Street Fight during Night Two of WrestleMania 42 this past Sunday, but unfortunately, he did not win. Prior to the match, Dominik made a memorable entrance, arriving on a gigantic throne and surrounded by luchadores wearing white masks.
According to BodySlam+, the luchadores in white masks are competitors in the worlds of pro wrestling and Lucha libre. Some of the notable names included are Gravity, Rayo Star, Anubis, the Mexa Boys (Noisy Boy and Spider Fly), Calibus, Diablo Azteca, Skalibur, and Enigma, who is known as “The King” Rey Mysterio.
It is yet to be confirmed if the Gravity mentioned is the same Gravity who has appeared intermittently on AEW and ROH television over the past couple of years, nor is it clear if Enigma is related to the Mysterios. Updates will be provided once more information is available. Dominik remains the AAA Mega Champion and will defend his title against El Grande Americano 2 on a date that has not yet been determined.
