Lawrence Okolie returns to the ring on Saturday against Tony Yoka in Paris.
Okolie (23-1, 17 KOs) faces Yoka (15-3, 12 KOs) in a crunch heavyweight clash at the Adidas Arena.
‘The Sauce’ is the number one contender with the WBC behind world champion, Oleksandr Usyk who defends his title against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 in Egypt.
The former cruiserweight world champion has won four in a row since moving up to heavyweight, retiring Ebenezer Tetteh in two rounds in December in Nigeria.
The 33-year-old Londoner has been vocal over his desire to secure a clash with WBC interim titlist, Agit Kabayel, but risks his position against Olympic gold medalist, Yoka.
The Frenchman has won four on the bounce, after suffering three straight defeats, notably against Martin Bakole.
Yoka, 33, knocked out Patrick Korte on the same card as Okolie in December.
