In the 15th match of the Caribbean Premier League, Barbados Royals locked horns with Trinbago Knight Riders. In that match, a special fielding effort by Jason Holder and Rovman Powell stole the show. In the 9th over, Keshav Maharaj came to bowl and Nicholas Pooran was on strike.Â
Keshav Maharaj delivered a full ball outside off-stump, which Pooran attempted to hit aggressively. Pooran mistimed his shot, and Rovman Powell made a brilliant catch. Powell sprinted from long-off, jumped high and snagged the ball just as he neared the boundary.
As Powell was about to cross the ropes, he saw Jason Holder running from long on. Powell tossed the ball back to Holder, who managed to catch it before touching the boundary. This remarkable teamwork led to a spectacular moment. Pooran had no choice but to leave the field after the catch.

The Royals Faced a Narrow Win:
In the 15th match, the Barbados Royals faced Trinbago Knight Riders. After winning the toss, Trinbago Knight Riders opted to bowl first. While batting in the first innings, Rahkeem Cornwall was dismissed on a duck. Alick Athanaze was also dismissed on a duck. Quinton de Kock scored 39 runs in 21 balls. Rivaldo Clarke added 18 runs. Captain Rovman Powell was unbeaten scoring 59 runs in 38 balls. In 20 overs, they scored 156/7.Â
While bowling in the second innings, the Royals bowlers showcased excellent performance but faced a hard luck. Maheesh Theekshans secured three wickets by conceding 26 runs. Obed McCoy secured 2 wickets in 30 runs. Jason Holder, Naveen ul Haq, and Keshav Maharaj secured 1 wicket each. But Trinbago Knight Riders reached the target in the last over and won the match by 2 wickets.Â
