Massive Botch On WWE NXT – Details

ZARIA once again proved she that can’t be trusted — and it paid off in a big way.

The second week of WWE NXT: Revenge wrapped up with a Last Woman Standing match between Sol Ruca and ZARIA. Ruca entered the bout with momentum after appearing on the RAW following WrestleMania 42, where she faced newly crowned WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Now officially part of the RAW roster, Ruca’s debut didn’t go as planned, as ZARIA interfered and cost her the match.

That animosity carried into their clash at WWE NXT: Revenge, where the two pushed each other to the limit. Late in the match, Ruca set ZARIA up across two tables and climbed a nearby structure, looking to finish things. But when she looked down, ZARIA had vanished — only to reappear moments later after scaling the structure herself.

ZARIA went after her, but Ruca countered and connected with a Sol Snatcher, seemingly regaining control. Moments later, Ruca struck ZARIA in a way that nearly sent her crashing off the platform. However, hesitation set in. Instead of letting her fall, Ruca grabbed ZARIA and pulled her to safety. The two shared then embraced, as ZARIA told Ruca that she loved her.

In an instant, ZARIA shoved her off the structure, sending her crashing through two tables below. In a scary moment and big time botch, Ruca only went through one of the tables. Ruca was unable to answer the referee’s 10-count, handing ZARIA a victory and another betrayal in their long, complicated history.

A Casket Match for the Women’s North American Championship took place during week two of WWE NXT: Revenge, with Tatum Paxley defending her title against Blake Monroe.

The stipulation added an edge to their rivalry, marking one of the rare times the match type has been featured in recent WWE programming. The last Casket Match prior to this came on an October 2024 episode of NXT, where Paxley picked up a win over Wendy Choo.

The bout delivered several wild moments, including a sequence where both Paxley and Monroe crashed into the casket at the same time, causing the lid to slam shut. Officials ruled that the match would continue despite the unusual situation.

Another moment saw Paxley execute a Spanish Fly off the casket.

Monroe later attempted to turn the tide by introducing a bag of diamonds into the ring, but it backfired. Paxley countered with her “Cemetery Driver,” driving Monroe onto the diamonds. Capitalizing on the impact, Paxley rolled Monroe into the casket and slammed the lid shut to secure the victory and retain her championship.
