As reports continue to come out regarding fan-related incidents during the weekend of WrestleMania 42, two WWE Hall of Famers have addressed their own incidents with fans who did not respect personal boundaries.
Sean Waltman, who competed in WWE as The 1-2-3 Kid and X-Pac, responded to news of a fan whose phone was swatted away by CM Punk by recalling similar incidents with fans over the course of the weekend:
In addition, Booker T recounted on his Hall of Fame podcast with one fan attempting to film im in the bathroom at the hotel:
I was walking out of the hotel, and a guy just blocked me. He’s got his camera out. It was so disrespectful. If I would have bumped him and he went down, he probably would’ve tried to sue me. So much goes into stuff like that and it’s the reason why the superstars do not want to put themselves in that situation. As soon as something happens, somebody is going to cry wolf. They were camped out.
The guy was filming me in the bathroom. I walk out and he goes, ‘Hey, Booker.’ I just kept walking because I was so mad because he was filming me in the bathroom. For me, it was the toughest time I had to deal with as far as the fan interaction this year in Vegas. A lot of them were outright disrespectful.
