In February 2023, Dolphin team mates Lily Byrne & Meghan Crilly were on the Dolphin/Ballincollig side that won the Munster U16 League. They played together again the following season, for the 2024-25 school year, Meghan had like Lucia Linn a couple of years before moved to a school in Loughborough. (Lucia is the Ireland U21 captain for a series starting 18th April – so in the space of  3 weeks 3 current/former Dolphin underage girls will have captained an international side)

Lily was on the Irish U18 team last season and at the start of this season Meghan was capped at senior level by Munster.

The U18 festival has a full game on day 1 and on day 2 they play 2 35 mins internationals, Ireland playing England and Scotland.

Lily was named as Irish captain for the Scotland game and on the extended bench for the England game.

Meghan had declared for England and was named as co captain against Ireland.
